Jet A-1 is a kerosene-based aviation fuel used in turbine engine aircraft. It complies with international standards such as DEF STAN 91-091 and ASTM D1655, featuring a flash point above 38°C and a freezing point below -47°C. Jet A-1 is the most widely used jet fuel worldwide.

  • How is Jet A-1 delivered to aircraft?

At major airports like Hamad International Airport (HIA), Jet A-1 is delivered through:
    •    Underground hydrant fueling systems for direct refueling at contact stands.
    •    Mobile fuel bowsers ranging (capacity: 20,000 to 60,000 liters) used at remote and hard-stand positions.

    •    Charter and emergency medical flights

  • How do you ensure fuel quality?

Fuel undergoes rigorous quality checks at every stage:
    •    Storage tank sampling
    •    Filtration during loading and delivery
    •    On-site visual and chemical analysis (e.g., water content, density)
    •    Real-time flow monitoring using calibrated meters
We fully comply with IATA, JIG, and ICAO standards.
