QJET participates in Qatar Airways event for the new A380

​​Qatar Airways  made a try to provide the plane with fuel from more than one location in Q-JET whereas Hamad International Airport, using different vehicles to make sure that the company is ready to serve the largest plane in the world «A380» and which was added to Qatar Airlines fleet.

The final try was done among the attendance of all the company’s officials from the operation department or technical department by the use of special vehicles made for this kind of planes. The company did not face any problems in this final try which confirmed that it is ready to provide the best services to the Qatar Airlines Fleet.

The General Manager Hamad bin Saud Al Thani as well as Administration Manager Mr. Ibrahim Jiham Al Kuwari in addition to Mr. Khalil Makki the financial manager and the operation manager Atiq Salem Almusalam and Mr Khalid Ibrahim Buhindi deputy Operation Manager and Mr. Habib Hussein Al Sayyed the technical manager.

Part of the round that was made by Qatar Airlines was to present an opinion on the new plane and present its abilities and advantages and preparations that Qatar Airlines have which is better that other plane of the same brand.

The round included talking about the fuel tanks and distribution in the plane and its capacity and the estimated time to provide fuel as well as the safety measures and security in the large planes and how to deal with any emergencies before or during the trip.
The discussion during the round with the team from Air Bus Company was concentrated on the way that fuel system is managed through the cockpit and the role of the technical crew in making sure of the safety of the fuel system.

The plane has two floors with capacity of 517 A380. It is worth mentioning that Air Bus is distributed in three classes: 8 seats in first class, 48 seats in business class and 461 seats in economy class.

The area of each cabin in first class is 90 inch with the possibility to change the seat to a flat bed while each cabin in business class is 52 inch.​
