At QJET, functional testing of all key refuelling components is performed in strict accordance with international aviation standards and guidelines, including JIG, IATA, IFQP, and other leading industry institutions. All results are meticulously recorded to ensure product integrity, safety, and compliance across our operations at HIA and DIA.

QJET ensures the reliability and safety of all refuelling operations through comprehensive inspection and testing programs in line with international aviation standards. Key activities include:

  • Performing PCV, colorimetric, and gravimetric tests to verify fuel system integrity and performance.
  • Inspecting hoses during hydrostatic testing to confirm strength and serviceability.
  • Inspecting valve chambers, hydrant pits, LPDs, and HPV pit boxes for cleanliness and structural condition.
  • Conducting static and dynamic testing of hydrant pit valves to ensure proper operation.
  • Monitoring and recording wear on QRV seats for preventive maintenance.
  • Monitoring differential pressure (DP) across filter vessels to assess element condition.
  • Performing DBB (Double Block and Bleed) monitoring to detect valve leakage.
  • Carrying out venting and draining of LPDs and HPVs, including flushing of dormant pits.
  • Conducting flushing of dormant reel hoses and over-wing nozzles to maintain fuel cleanliness.
  • Executing in-house calibration of hydrometers, thermometers, and stopwatches against reference units.
  • Performing microbiological testing as specified, with all results recorded and trended.
  • Conducting brake interlock checks on all refuelling equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.
