IOSH Middle East Annual Conference 2017

IOSH Middle East Annual Conference 2017 was held on 27th April 2017 at Ritz-Carlton, Doha-Qatar.

Representatives from IOSH and Safety experts from Different Organizations were present in the Conference.

Qatar Jet Fuel Company (QJet) was a major sponsor of the event by sponsoring Delegates folder and Sli.do application which helped the delegates to post their queries for the speakers.

QJet Management and Act. QHSSE Specialist showed their commitment towards Health & Safety by being visible throughout their event.

IOSH has chosen Qatar as the launch-pad for their New Strategy 2022 because of the region’s growth and increasing drive to cut workplace accidents and work-related illness.

It is clear that there is a real determination in Qatar to prevent employees from being harmed.
Businesses in Qatar are recognizing the benefits that good health and safety bring to them, including having more motivated workers.

“Major organisations in Qatar are also working hard not only to promote better health and safety at work but to improve standards of living away from the workplace as well.

There were many learnings in the event, about how to achieve Zero Harm, change Beliefs, Action and Results?
Representatives from Oman demonstrated their presentations spoke upon Beliefs Effecting Health & Safety.

Interactive Question and Answer session was held where all the participants were displayed QJet logo on the Sli.do app during the session for posting questions.

There were many Exhibitors from Qatar present in the Conference for advertising their products.
It was the one of the successful event on Health & Safety hosted in Qatar.

It was a good opportunity for Doha Qatar to explore on the biggest event conducted in the field of Health, Safety and Environment.​
